Rimpo and Associates has the expertise to evaluate potential health risks for projects that emit toxic air contaminants (TACs). These TACs are emitted as by-products of gasoline and diesel combustion, and as evaporative emissions from a wide range of emission sources.
Rimpo and Associates has experience estimating human health risks from inhalation exposure. We have used the AERMOD model, developed by the U.S. EPA, and the HARP model, developed by the California Air Resources Board, to estimate human health risks associated with pollutant emissions.
