Customized Software - Urbemis California
For the past 12 years, Rimpo and Associates has worked with several California air districts to enhance and improvement the URBEMIS model.
The URBEMIS model is a land use emissions inventory software program used to estimate emissions of criteria pollutants and greenhouse gases for construction, area, and operational sources.
The URBEMIS model is specific to California because it uses California-specific on-road (EMFAC2007) and construction (OFFROAD2007) emission factors.
Rimpo and Associates is currently working to improve the URBEMIS model, including updates to the greenhouse gas portion of the model that will allow the user to estimate indirect CO2 emissions from sources such as electricity use and water consumption.
